Junior High Decathlon - Day 2

After a two week respite, our junior high athletes returned to complete their decathlon competition. It was a tough day. The events included:

The Ski Pole Javelin

The Long Jump/Pole Vault Hybrid Event (I was entertained by photographing their jumping legs. . .

The It's-Not-a-Frisbee-It's-a-Discus Throw

The Short-Sprint-and-Turn Hurdles

And the Round-the-Block Run

The young athletes were generously awarded for their valiant efforts over this GRUELING two day event.
